Saskatchewan Manlift Operator Certification - Our scissor platform and aerial lift training and certification empowers participants with a knowledge and general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of "Power Operated Mobile Work Platforms," under all of the current regulations in the business. Upon successfully finishing the training, the participants would be able to recognize and understand specific safety and health related dangers associated with utilizing scissor and aerial lifts.

There are different affiliated places within your area providing Manlift Operator Certification Programs. Those training are provided with in-depth instruction about safe utilization and rules together with extensive hands-on training. The knowledge and skill level of every trainee is evaluated and those who are capable of demonstrating an acceptable level of operational ability would receive Operator Certification cards and employee documentation.

Theory Training
The trainer guides trainees through an interactive and comprehensive review throughout the theory training. The operator course book is studied which includes all applicable regulations. Other subject matters like for instance safe operating measures, various machine types including various associated applications and sizes, pre-use checks and general work place safety are individually explored.

Theory Evaluation
The Theory Evaluation begins with a written exam based upon the concepts covered in the operator's reference instruction manual. These tests are graded and returned to the trainees. Then the exams are reviewed to guarantee understanding and a minimum score of 70 percent is needed in order to pass this portion of the training.

Practical Training
The practical training is included in the hands-on part. It is here that the ones training are shown the safe operating procedures, such as the shutdown and parking measures and the pre-use check procedures. Every trainee has the chance to operate the equipment and practice the skills they learned in Theory Training under the helpful eye of the course trainer in a setting which is safety controlled.

Practical Evaluation
The Practical Evaluation is where the trainees are assessed to assure they have reached a minimum level of skill. The trainees are then assessed on an individual basis utilizing the machinery in a reasonably challenging course setting. Once the evaluation is done, the ones training are de-briefed and given the opportunity to deal with any problems they may have about any portion of the course. Each successful trainee's employer will be sent the official records and documents immediately after the course has been completed.
